كل الأولاد ينتظرون مجيء بابا نويل ليلة الميلاد ليترك لهم هدايا العيد تحت الشجرة. لمعظم الأولاد أهمية عيد الميلاد تكمن في مجيء بابا نويل! كلّنا نعرف أنّ بابا نويل ليس سوى أسطورة، وكثيرا” ما نسأل نفسنا متى يجب علينا أن نكشف لأولادنا عن حقيقته.

حقيقة”، ليس هناك عمرا” معيّنا” يجب أن يخبّروا الأهل أولادهم فيه عن عدم وجود بابا نويل. ولكن لا يجب أن تحاولي أن تطيلي الفترة التي يؤمن الطفل خلالها بوجوده. سيُظهر لك طفلك علامات تدل على أنّه حاضر أن يستغني عن إيمانه ببابا نويل. سيبدأ بالشك عندما يرى الكثير من البابا نويل في المحلات، ومن ثم سوف يسأل نفسه ويسألك كيف يستطيع بابا نويل أن يدخل الى البيوت التي لا تحتوي على مدخنة، وغيرها من الأسئلة.

إذا”، عندما يبدأ طفلك أن يُظهر لك تلك العلامات هذا يعني أنّه بدأ باكتشاف حقيقة بابا نويل فيمكنك أن تخبريه عندها أنّه ليس سوى أسطورة.
ليزيد بابا نويل سحرا” لأطفالكم في عيد الميلاد!

Every kid on the planet is waiting for the fat man to come down the chimney with a bag full of gifts. For most of them Christmas is all about Santa! We all know that Santa Claus is only a mythical character, and we often ask ourselves till when shall we let our kids believe in Santa.

There is actually no specific age when parents should reveal to their children that Santa doesn’t exist, but the important thing is not to try to prolong this fantasy when your children are ready to give it up. In fact, every child will come to a time when he’ll give you signs that he’s ready to give up believing in Santa. Your child might start getting suspicious about the different Santas you will see in the mall. He will also start asking how can he get to every house in the world in one night, or how can he get into houses with no chimneys, etc.
Thus, when your child starts showing you these signs, this means he’s ready to give up believing in Santa, and you can feel free to reveal to him that Santa is just a myth.

Christmas is all about magic, so let Santa add some magic to your kids’ Christmas!

بعض بضعة ساعات من وصولهما الى الإسطبل، ولّدت مريم طفلها وسمّته يسوع. لفّت مريم يسوع بلفائف الثياب ووضعته في مزود مليء بالقش.
في البلدة نفسها كانوا رعاة يحرسون قطيعهم عندما ظهر لهم نجم في السماء. خاف الرعاة ولكنّ النجم كان ملاكا” من الله. قال لهم الملاك: “لا تخافوا فقد أتيت إليكم من عند الله بخبر سيكون بشرى سارّة للعالم كلّه. اليوم ولد المسيح وهو ملك العالم، وستجدونه في بيت لحم نائم في مزود.”

تبع الرعاة نور النجم في السماء ووصلوا الى الإسطبل حيث رؤوا الطفل وامتلأ قلبهم بالفرح. ركعوا وسجدوا له ومن ثمّ أخبروا مريم ويوسف كيف ظهر لهم الملاك وقال لهم أنّ يسوع هو مخلّص العالم.

A few hours later after settling in the stable, Mary gave birth to her son. She wrapped Jesus in strips of cloth and laid Him in a manger full of hay.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field watching over their sheep. A bright light appeared in the sky. They were very afraid. It was an Angel sent by God. The Angel said: “Fear not, I bring you good news and great joy which shall be to all people. Today the Christ is born, he is the Lord and you would find Him in Bethlehem lying in a manger.”

The shepherds followed the light to see the baby. When they arrived at the stable, they saw Jesus lying in the manger and they were filled with joy. They knelt down and worshipped Him. They told Mary and Joseph how the angel had appeared in the sky and told them that Jesus is the Savior of the world.

في ذلك اليوم تأخّر بوب كراتشيت عن دوام عمله ودخل الى المكتب والخوف ينتابه، ولكنّه تعجّب عندما رأى مديره جالسا” الى جانب الموقد والبسمة على وجهه. قال السيّد سكرودج لموظّفه: “سأزيد لك راتبك”، وطلب منه أن يهتمّ جيّدا” بتيم الصغير وألّا ينسى أن يشعل الموقد في غرفته قبل أن يغادر البيت الى عمله كل يوم.
لم يصدّق بوب عينيه وأذنيه، ولكن كل ما حصل كان حقيقة.
كانت ليلة رأس السنة مميّزة في بيت بوب كراتشيت هذه السنة، فأرسل السيّد سكرودج لهم ديك رومي للعشاء. أصبح السيّد سكرودج أبا” ثانيا” لتيم الصغير وكان يحبّه كثيرا”، فهو الذي زرع في قلبه المحبة من خلال الحلم الذي رآه في ليلة الميلاد وأصبح بعده رجلا” صالحا
